Mindustry is a tower defense, assembly line, 8-bit chunk of sandbox epicness! Fuel your turrets, and 'pew-pew' the bad guys along with them. The game was developed by [https://github.com/Anuken Anuken] in [https://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/ LibGDX], originally for the [https://itch.io/jam/gdl---metal-monstrosity-jam GDL Metal Monstrosity Jam] in April 2017. It won the jam on the 30th, and has since become Anuken's main project. It has gone through several revisions since then, and the upcoming 4.0 update will add even more features. Mindustry has multiplayer capability by running a dedicated server or by using LAN.

Welcome to the Official Mindustry Wiki, the official (unofficial) source of documentation for Mindustry 3.5.

Mindustry is a sandbox tower defense game. Players can create elaborate supply chains of conveyor belts to feed ammo into their turrets, produce materials to use for building, and defend their structures from waves of enemies.


Mindustry was originally developed by Anuken in April 2017 for the GDL Metal Monstrosity Jam. It won the jam on the 30th, and has since become Anuken's main project. The game is developed in LibGDX, a cross-platform Java game development framework. The game has gone through several revisions since the Jam, the most recent being version 7.0.

Mindustry is free-and-open-source and the source code can be found on Github. It has multiplayer capability by running a dedicated server or by using LAN. The game is available on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.

Mecha Get the Game

Mindustry is currently in development. It is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, and can be downloaded in Steam and Itch.io. The game is currently on v7. Bleeding-edge and older builds can be found in Github.
